In simple terms, the “bid” is the price at which you can sell the base currency, and the “ask” is the price at which you can buy it. The difference between these two prices is known as the spread, often called the “bid-ask spread”.
Dolphin Markets' spreads are variable, meaning they can be as low as 0.0 pips on our MT5 platforms during periods of high market liquidity. We source our liquidity from top-tier financial institutions, ensuring you trade with the most competitive spreads available.

Forex Broker Spreads
The spread is measured in pips. For most currency pairs, a pip is the fourth decimal place, which is equal to 0.0001.For example, if the bid/ask spread for AUD/USD is 0.71184/0.71185, the spread is calculated as follows:
SPREAD = Ask Price - Bid Price
SPREAD = 0.71185 - 0.71184 = 0.00001
Since one pip is 0.0001, the spread is 0.1 pips.
